Leon FR - Alarm Spec

Hi,
still looking at getting an FR but cant find the following on website.
hoping someone with a leon FR can help out,......

1. is the leon alarm thatcham approved/category rated?
2. does it blip when arming/disarming
3. what noise does it make siren or horn?
4. by volumetric alarm do they mean it has ultrasonic or the (better) microwave sensor?
5. is the fault with it going of randomly (seen on other post) still present or has it been recalled/rectified?

thanks, am i correct in thinking that if volumetric alarm has no relevance to sensors, the alarm will not sound if someone breaks the window?
Seems strange on such a new car not to have more protection!

2. No
3. Siren (with back up horn)
4. I would guess Ultrasonic (Alarm senses any movement within vehicle)
5. I haven't ready any new reports (recently) of faulty alarms so I'd guess yes!

1. Thatcham 1 as far as I know. (alarm and immobilser.)
2. No blip, only flashes the lights.
3. siren noise.
4. Volumetric is space inside the car, ie; movement. This can be turned off by clicking lock remote twice. forxample if you kept a dog in the car which might move around.
5. not sure of this, doesnt affect my car.

Concurr with 1,2,3,4 but 5 is still doing the rounds and my daughters on her 3rd week without her FR and SEAT STILL have not put out instructions to the dealerships, thus some are clutching at straws co's the diagnostics donot correctley ID the suspect item - which is believed to be N/S door controller??!!??

strange, you would think you could use all the vag com adjustables,in my mk4 golf i got a vag com owner to enable the anti hijack, when the car gets to 7-8 miles an hour the central locking locks all doors.
my brother has a MK5 golf and you can use vag-com to change the stearing settings on that from basic to sport well worth it.
Dan what options do you get to change with the vag for the Seat

You get pretty much everything, except changing the blip on alarm as far as I know
