nice figures dave, I guess a fmic is next?
Funnily enough my figures are similar minus your new atp mani but with fmic, will be interesting to see if thats what you go for next.

:D Don't! I'm supposed to be selling it and buying a LHD truck in France - but hey - haven't sold the house yet!

Yes, I suppose FMIC is next - actually before that I'm going to get a new foam core for my RamAir and get that back on. You had no issues there, Brendy?

ATP mani is a pain to fit, but worth it I think. If you are thinking of going BT later, I'd really consider getting the bottom LH corner of it ground down as per Myk3 (sp?) suggestion. Otherwise (like me) the bugger would have to come off again first.

nope matey, ive had my ramair well over a year and done over 25k on it, its been out and washed thoroughly twice and still sucks like a dyson. I wouldnt mind getting my hands on a new heatshield for it though as i tried to touch up my paintwork on it and it managed to fall and put a small dent on it.

Impressive! You didn't re-treat it after you washed it?
I've got a price from RamAir for a cone - would you like me to find out how much for a heatshield for you?

Ive got pipercross shizzle left from my old 16v biut the amount i put on was barely negligable. If you could find out the price that'd be great mate. I kind of liked the look of it (below in my sig) s it matched my tip etc.

Yeah, your RamAir (sig) is nearly as subtle as my car. :D

Give me a few days, I'll get you a price.

On cleaning, I got the gear from Bill and did what it said on the tin. ****ed up 5 MAFs after that............ Hence I'm running a paper filter at the Mo. You got a DP now?

not yet, im really torn between a exchange for an evo5/6 or sticking with the leon for another year, i know the dp will make a difference but just cant bring myself to part with 3-400 quid for one.Saying that though, the bloke that did my powerflow cat back has said that he will fab me up a 2 1/2" downpipe and mate it to my existing cat for 150 quid sounds tempting.

Ask him if he'd do you a 2.75" for similar and go for it (assuming it includes a flexi). You've done it all then barring the turbo. Hell, the sunroof must be worth 15bhp - well perhaps 6 bhp at this time of year.............. ;)

there was a £50 quid difference going from 2.25 to 2.5" Im not sure if he has 2.75, ill need to ask him. My only concern is that he is butchering a perfectly good (and only) downpipe. How many cells is the std cat anyway? is it worthwhile?
Even in this weather the sunroof is brilliant, you can fully tilt it and no rain comes in, ive left it open overnight recently and got in the next morningt and theres not a drop of rain in.

Im only on my 2nd maf, I still dont think the ramair did anything to the original as it was clean when removed and the readings were really wierd, only reading around 0.75 gs or something iirc.

dave, if your foam core is still intact, fill a bucket with hot water and fairy liquid and steep it for a while, rub it and try to remove as much crap off it , let it dry upside down then refit it. if thats your only problem with it the fiary will break down the oils.

i used a white bucket not that long ago, you would be surprised by the amount of sh1t that fairy pulls out of the sponge.
saying that, no amount of induction kit oiling would cause this.... click on the image... ill put 1p up for whoever can tell me what caused this!
