Anyone running 205/55/16s

As above really....

Tyre size calculator thing says it'll put my speedo out about 6 - 8 % too slow, don't really like the sounds of that but I just wondered if any of you people were running 16s with this size tyre

:D

I tried 16" with that tire on it, just too see how the wheels would look, and with H&R -30mm lowering it rubber easily in front. Too big.. I'd say that 205/50 is max for 16".

I am thinking about 205 50 16's for my next set of tyres as I think it may help with the ride quality, and they are a lot cheeper in that size too

anyone?

I would like to put some standard steel wheels on for the remaining winter months.

Will the above wheels, from a beetle, fit?

Just worried the wrong offset and tyre profile may cause problems.

Thanks! :)

Could anyone tell me the offset of the standard 16" Ibiza alloys? (FR if that makes any difference)

Thanks

Cheers mate, I may have to take the wheel off to double check.

Anyone know for certain?

Do you think this rubbind was directly duew to the lowering kit, ie. where abouts did it rub on the arch? Thanks
