bought some LED bulbs a few days ago for the sidelights on my car, and they arrived today, but they don't fit.
I went for the brighter 12 led version but due to the size, they don't fit.
I take it the sidelight bulbs are no use anywhere else in the car? (EG, Boot or glove box light?)
Anyone planning on buying these bulbs from Ultraleds.co.uk should be aware that they don't fit the MK1 Leon ;)

Ah fair enough. If it was something to do with the bottom being Bayonet, and the connectors being to long, they can always be trimmed down. But as this isn't the case. That information was pointless! LOL

No probs, at least it saved someone else typing it and wasting their time ;)

Does look nice mate. May look at it in the future, but for now money is tight and the LEDs are in, so might as well get some use out of them ;)

The buttons and light, seperate from each other, leaving the buttons on there own!

Well i just used a bio pen with grease on the ball end and lighty drew around the icons, then sprayed it, waited till the next day for the paint to dry then i used the bio again with tissue on the end and wiped the grease out of the icons leaving them clear again! Mind you the paint was satin and of thin layers and i made sure that the paint wasnt thick on the buttons so not to fill the icon channels and film over them...
