What speakers have you go in there at the moment?

Why do you wanna change?
Whats the rest of the setup? Or is it standard?

Those Infinity comps are pretty good value and the specs are respectable aswell. Have had Infinity comps and subs in the past and have always been very happy with them.

Got a jbl 12inch sub/amp and kenwood kfc hq178 7x10 in a stealth shelf running on a standard headunit at the moment. Would prefer the music to be nearer the front and the standard speakers can't handle it. Also would you think it would be woth having a seperate amp powering the speakers.

Cool.

Well those Infinity comps will be great up front. And yes powering them from an amp will be a lot better, the comps will be louder, clearer, produce more midbass and sound better for it.

The sub amp setup sounds good too, however get rid of the 7x10" speakers that are in ur shelf - its them that are dragging the music backwards. So amp the fronts and itll produce the soundstage upfront ;)

Whats your budget?

Alright cheers the speaker were already in the car when I got it so not my first chose but they are quite decent so I keep them a little longer. Probably got about £200 for the front speakers and a amp. Would those speakers definently fit my 2001 ibiza cupra as I now you need to get adapters aswell.

Youll need an adapter like this:

Where are you based?

What amp have you got already - is it just fr the sub?? Find me a make and model number please. Theres a couple of ways you can do this amp wise:

Sell current amp and buy a 4 channel amp to run front comps and sub.
Keep current amp and buy a seperate amp for front comps.

Have you got any pics of the install aswell? Would be great to see what its like.

Amp specs look good mate, why not buy another one to run the fronts? At £80you carnt go wrong eh? They will provide more than enough power to the Infinity comps youre thinkin about buying too.
