Induction kits & noise

Ppl who installed induction kits (whatever the make, K&N, Green Filter, etc..); how is the noise doing to your headache @ 60-70 mph?

Is it that noisy? mine is a 1.6 and the only thing keeping me of getting a K&N filter would be high noise on a normal 3000 revs.


any opinions?

note the close the kn filter is to the maf meter the louder it be's. the longer the lenght the noise will drain out.

yes, i understand...

I need to install a pipe to prolongue the air flow by installing a pipe. I am not sure why exactly but i think this is applicable. my 1.6 engine bay is having some free space for installing my leg inside.

still my question, if it is attached to to MAF directly. Would it be like "ear cotton"?
