hmmm just had a word with the bloke - they've given me a 1.25 fiesta apparently it's like for like on the hire car hmmm.... oh well at least i have a car to go about in
id have given you a diesel ibiza, and told you it was faster so if they are saying the 1.25 is like for like, why the hell is the cupra the flag ship model LMFAO
Ah well hun, at least you may get something a bit quicker on wednesday, maybe they will give you a lawnmower
Why have you gone through your own insurance?
Surely if the girl who hit your car was insured and you got to speak to her (i assume you did looking back at the previous posts?) you got her details?
Or have i missed something?
She has gone through her insurance, gave all the other persons details to them, insurance policy etc etc, then her insurance will just charge them when the works all done.
i thought you had to tell your insurance company regardless of blame but i'm not paying for it - they will claim back the money from the other persons insurance

I see what you mean now. I thought she meant that her insurance were covering it and the girl who hit it was getting off scot free.
Hope its all sorted quickly and painlessly

they're not picking my car up til wednesday as all the places are shut for xmas - but they said it may take a little while to get it sorted at least a week into january - also noticed today is that they have scuffed my mirror (i feel some colour coloured mirrors coming on!!!)
I thought it's standard practice to tell ur own insurer of an accident whether it be your fault or not?
You pay them a premium. Part of their service to deal with the other party involved and ensure everything is paid for and all sorted in an efficient manner.
colour coloured mirrors whats them then? do you mean colour coded? nah dont do that, i want them black for when i get it next year, get your bump strips done though one less thing for me to do
