VAG-COM fault codes on my Mk3

Ok i need some advice from the VAG-COM experts among you. I've had my engine management light on for the past two days (haven't been driving my car with it on!) and the following codes have been highlighted. Any ideas??

16795 P0411 Secondary Air Injection System: Incorrect Flow Detected

17536 P1128 Long Term Fuel Trim mult.,Bank1 System too Lean

As a novice at VAG-COM is there a step-by-step procedure i can follow to check the parameters of my MAF. Obviously i intend to be extremely careful not to screw anything up, but feel confident to have a go, plus i would like to learn more about and suppose i need to start somewhere with it

In post #1 i developed the two fault codes listed and after a bit of reading through SCN and on Google, it has been suggested that i check my MAF settings as well as hoses and what not.

Any advice is appreciated
