If the outside air sensor doesn't work neither will the AC. I think when mine went it was reading too low and if it goes under a certain temp the AC will auto shut down to protect the system.
I'm not too convinced on how accurate the reading is tho!
Mine starting flashing ages ago! seat said could be to do with temp sensor, then about a day after i went to see them the temp sensor when mad! said it was 30 degs all time, when it clearly wasnt, then it totally packer in!
changed the sensor, had to wire in new one! had rusted thru the wiring and the sensor! But the a/c still doesnt work.
Think the gas has gone, might have a leak somewhere i think! gonna be expensive!!
mine doesnt work, getting same symtoms, ac display just flashes
outside temp sensor is fine, been told by my local mechanic that it just needs regassing (which i will do at some point before summer)
Mine started flashing a while back, temp reading was spot on though. Took it for a regas and the guy said it was empty, so regassed and it was empty again by morning Gotta get a leak detection done now and then replace any leaking parts
