Unusual Question About Seat Belts!

I have a Cordoba SX 1997 but the rear seat belts aren't long enough to go round a car seat!

I was wondering if there was one that was a straight swap but it is longer say from an ibiza/toledo/polo etc.

Or would this type of thing from ebay work?

Any other suggestions would be more than welcome as i'm getting it in the neck for not being able to drive anywhere!

hi mate i have a seat in the back of our cordy and it fits ok
silly question but have you checked to see if its cought anywhere?

Yeah have checked that its not caught anywhere and its fully extended. if it helps the seats still rear facing at the moment as the baby is only 5 months old.

that maybe why then as we all ways had our girl in the front
i no our forward facing one fits fine it also fits fine in the leon

Yeah must be - problem is i've still got the passenger air bag so she cant go in the front.

check your handbook, I'm sure there's a switch on the end of the dash or somewhere that deactivates the airbag.....

In my 53 plate Ibiza there was an switch that looked like the ignition and it was in the glovebox. You have to use your key to switch it on or off. It was quite obvious when you open the glove box. Don't know if yours if older or newer, but I'd have thought that the Cordoba was the same as the Ibiza on this.

My ones a 97 version and i don't have a glovebox at all unfortunately - would be more use than an airbag in my opinion
