Im with Spaniels on this one, do I get a feeling its a 0-60 on the clock, with a mate in the passenger seat, clutch comes up, they starting going on "oh mate start counting"
no its more like i hold the video on the dials and nail it and drive all the way up to 120mph approx and then time it from video it is the best way i culd get the most accreate time judge for yourself when i put it up tho im just waiting for a mate at work that i sent it to, to send it to me via email!
congrates matey
i don't know wether rash had it RR or not, but he been trading times with gazjones on this thread, looks and sound pretty inpressive, but he's removed the viper induction kit now, he's got some new toys now i believe
I asked about the figures out of curiosity - some tuners make claims of 225bhp etc without any proof to back it up, and more commonly known tuners like Jabbe Revo etc, tend to be more conservative with the figures.
On the road though, there doesn't seem to be much difference between them
certainly do no the car hasnt been rolling roaded but me and gaz have compaired videos and are quite simular his is slightly faster but he's running 236bhp can see in my signature the changes ive made to my car as the little add on bits i belive arent going to get me the bhp figures i wanting so changes have been made to get ready for the downpipe and sports cat and either the phase 2 - 3 custom code remap and bigger turbo package! (jbs04 turbo)
the angel tuning remap was well worth £350 but im now so interested in getting the turbo and CC and then RR will be minimum 260bhp and the maximum on phase three is 300bhp! dont think i would get these sort of gains using angel tuning remap!!
it is alot of power not sure i will want 300bhp as a reliabilty factor of the internals would be an issue and pricey to upgrade or replace. its not problem at all having a FWD car with 300bhp tho just no when you can use all that 300bhp and steady it off the line using as much power as you can im looking for about 260bhp-280bhp i know of some1 with a mk1 golf with a 1.8t lump in it running 400bhp (but that is mental money!)
im not earning peanuts and when i have got my exhaust its anouther cost out the way for the turbo upgrade at the end of the day you pay for what you get and i would trust my car at jbs and being CC all the way! will be talking soon to them as they are trying to find a way round upgrading my MAF sensor as they dont do an upgrade for the petrol cupra but hes looking into the diesel one or something as this is bigger apparantly
