That is just mental. And it probably still turns in about 30mpg. Its enough to make you weep as even in a truly quick petrol car your going to struggle to match that kind of power. The ultimate street sleeper???Oh it is pretty impressive (5 series not the 3, I haven't tried one of those), 0-100 in something like 12.x seconds. Still getting used to it and still haven't turned off the traction control! Has some great kit as well - heads up display which shows speed and navigation info and it also has paddles fitted. TBH it only really gets going above 50mph. Looking forward to taking it to the alps in the spring - that is when it will really show it's legs.

Display projected onto the windscreen, it is as if your speedo is floating somewhere on your bonnet. French ski resorts - La Rosiere (so no doubt skiing into La Thuile) and Les Arcs.
So remapping the 330's 204BHP lump will produce 280hp?!!! did i read that right?

The Merc C55 AMG (5.5 V8) is only 510Nm, and they had to stick to a 5 speed auto box in that as the 7 speed couldn't handle the torque.
How long before a car breaks the 1000Nm torque barrier.... (if one hasn't already)
Talking about stock cars there's the veyron and the 6.0 tdi that audi stuck into the Q7, it has 500hp and 1000nm. I guess there's some american engine that passed that too,,, some special edition viper or corvette I guess,,,

Don't forget the 335i is out with a petrol twin turbo 3.0 V6. Near as damm it as quick as the current M3 0-60 with more torque, a quick remap on that puppy would be interesting.......
Is the new M3 comin out with a turbo engine too??

yes interesting, i wonder if they have the same clutch problems as the higher powered VAG TDI when remapped... hmmm
