Premature Dump (from dv)

Sometimes in either 1st or 2nd i hear my dumpvalve (forge re-circ) dump when im excellerating slowly.but then when i excellerate more and let off i can hear it dump again

Its strange, does anyone know why this can be happening

Well it happens everytime you back off, i used to hear it do that.

One thing to try though for peace of mind is a throttle body realignment.

If you are still worried about the DV take it off and do the pressure test on the Forge website.....it's fairly low tech (Biro and fingers) but should tell you if it's leaking....if it is speak to Forge and they will send you a service kit......fairly rare they need a service though

pretty sure that exactly what they are supposed to do..

If you have an induction kit fitted, which is what your sig says, the chances are the noise you are hearing is air being sucked in through the kit, and echoed up the intake pipe... rather than the DV "dumping".
