Where can I buy this Sach kit then?
Or just the dampers as the kit uses Eibach springs anyway doesn't it?

i am :)
where else can you buy a 3yr old car, 1 careful owner, low mileage for £4900

plan to sell the 406 next year for a bigger "family" car (leaning towards a Sharan/Alhambra atm) and keep the FR as a toy :)

so is your final payment £4900?

ah ok....mines only 4k cos i put down the full 30% possible deposit, but i'm not gona have that saved up knowing me, so i'll probably give it back.

Best thing with the PCP, is that if you get bored anytime over 3months since owning the car, rather than the agreed 3, you can just go in, sort somthing out, and get a new car.

The sachs kit is exactly the same as the seat sport kit, apart from the stickers. IIRC, when i had my car in for some warranty work they left a parts and price list catalogue in the car. On it was the seat sport kit, but a fitted cost was £700-£800 iirc. I can get the sachs kit from work if you request, iirc it was around the £350+vat mark.It does improve the handling no end, and does lower it nicely, although the rear could probably do with 40-45 mm drop instead of the 35mm drop alround.

If you want the kit mate, just send me a pm and ill see what i can do ;)

Think you can still get genuine seat stuff on www.seat.com but its only sold in europe so you would have to know someone going over to the continent and it would be far too much hassle in my opinion.

Cheers Spaniels! What i'll do is give Seat a ring and feel the ground and depending what they say, i may get back to you. Is the Seat sport kit, springs and shox rather than coilovers?

that's what we did with the SXi, wasn't due for replacement til next may, but when we got a phone call to say that the dealer had arriving one of the first crono FR PDi's with lux pack, we decided to go have a look, and just had to have him :cloud9:

Yeah, would it be worth upgrading from FR shocks and springs to Cupra ones?

Or should I just go straight for the Sach kit, or Koni kit etc.

the cupra isnt any lower than the fr another think that helps the cupra is the anti roll bar being thiker and its slightly wider stance( wheels are slightly further apart)
