As above really....i don't want to get an after market kit as i don't want to void the warrentee etc, so do Seat do their own sport suspension kit?

I've just had a quick look on their site and they do a kit for the ibiza from >02, but nothing is listed on suspension for the >06 models.

SeatSport used to sell a kit, but it's been discontinued. What Spaniels has is the same kit, but branded as Sachs rather the SeatSport. I used to have the SeatSport kit on my old Ibiza and it lowers the car by a reasonable amount and improves the handling to no end.

If you're lucky a dealer may have one left over in stock somewhere, but the chances are quite slim.

Coz i'm dumb and don't really know, but is the Cupra suspension any different from the FR?????

i know Seat Sport still make strut braces that can make i big difference.

are you after stiffer handling? lower?? etc

i think its firmer but not lower but thicker anti roll bar might be to do with it and the wheels are spaced out a slight bit more as well so wider stance

im not bothered too much about ride height, a little bit lower would be nice, but its the stiffer handling im after...my old corsa was on Koni coilovers and that was like a go-kart, thats what i miss.

as i don't want to void the warrentee, if Seat were to source and fit a kit, do you think that'd be ok? maybe the Sachs kit, if its the same?

if seat dont sell it as an additional extra any more then im sure that this is just as likely to void your warrant as normal aftermarket suspention!

my coilovers are really stiff cant push down much at all! but inside isnt too crashy over bumps and sticks to the road. perfect!

but it will only invalidate your suspention warrenty and you will get warrenty with your new suspention they cant blame your rear light working on suspention

true, but i will be giving the car back to them at some point anyway (around 3yrs time...pcp payment you see), so i don't want to risk them not taking it back (cos im not paying the final payment! thats for sure!)

if the modification is not related to warranty claim then work should be carried out under warranty but some main dealers could void your warranty on any modifyed parts

If your giving the car back in three years just keep the old suspension and put it back on when you give the car back.

i am :)
where else can you buy a 3yr old car, 1 careful owner, low mileage for £4900

plan to sell the 406 next year for a bigger "family" car (leaning towards a Sharan/Alhambra atm) and keep the FR as a toy :)
