I have a remap on my car and i can get 300 miles out of my tank!

It costs £35 to fill up with V-Power as i HAVE to use that and i get about 33mpg to 35mpg

I have had 44.3mpg before too

at the moment i have full exhaust/downpipe, FMIC, forge DV and green dynatwist and i'm averaging 23mpg. it's f*cking shocking i tell you. that's sensible driving to work aswell. hope it improves with the re-map

Your meant to get better MPG after a map because the car don't work as hard... Like i said it all depends on different things..

One of the most stupid things i've heard. So increasing the peak boost from 7 to ~20 psi doesnt make the car work harder?

On a trip to Silverstone from South Wales ~200 miles i was gettin 44-46mpg. And that was in a convoy.

i think she was trying to say that you use less throttle to get the same speed

iv never struggled to get over 200miles out of a full tank no matter how heavy my right foot is, with a light foot i can get over 300 easily enough

odd though it costs me roughly 42quid to fill up on vpower from empty

I know I've had a shitty week (Dad being made rendundant, almost hydrolocking the car, split with the girlfriend and loads of crap to deal with at work) and I've been giving the car more beans than usual, but I'm only getting 190 miles to a tank...

Is it time for a new MAF and lamba sensors ?

How much is V-Power where you are?

Thats what I do.. clear it all out and start again.. not often I put new on top of old... just figured it was the better way to do it...

I cant often let it run to empty as it never works out with my journeys! I normally try and fill up when i hear the beep but when i have run it right down i have got over 300 miles to a tank

I have to use V-Power every time so dont know what its like on others

Surely running it to empty will get rid of the contaminents but in turn will run them through the car and thats not really good? Two ways of looking at it, you know?

But if you are constantly running it empty... i.e. using a tank a week then they won't/shouldn't build up cause it's going through the system too quickly.. I should hope

I also stick in some fuel cleaner every so often too

I have no idea how much petrol is, or what my MPG is

I just wait for a beep to let me know that I must visit the refuelling station and stand there until the pump stops. I go and pay and go about my merry way...

I have trouble remembering my own name at times.

Oblivion is bliss.
