how low on 17's

just brought myself some 17 inch alloys for my cupra and was wondering how much i should lower the car by to get it about the same height as if it were on the standard 16's maybe a little lower

youll probably want the seat sport kit, it offers 20-25mm drop. its offers excellent handling, but its pricey. if not you could just go with the springs as theyre just eibach ones.

nope. i need to roll the arches now. but you do run the risk of metal distortion with the roller over time and should therefore get your arches painted asap. so i'm just gonna raise it instead soon!!

I got on 205 tyres and lowered 55-60ish mm with 15mm spacers and the arches needed a cut back a fair bit. Had most of thearch work done while the car was getting sprayed after the crash but i had to trim more off myself - good old angle grinder!!

yeah definetly, i would have got fk's if my car hadnt already had the seat sport kit. fk's are excellent for the money imo.
