I've seen some pictures of an FR badge on one of the top grilles, has anyone on here done this? If yes, pics would be brilliant! Thanks

Peelo off backing and stick on I believe. Had a look at my grill and I think there would be enough surface area to hold it on - the sticky stuff on the se things is usually excellent.

kinda like the idea of a grill badge.
how do they attach?? coz the honeycomb on the facelift FR is quite wide!!

Hmmm, ya they are largers holes arent they on the facelift, mines just on with some superglue :p

Personally, wouldnt go with a all red FR badge, as its not what the Ibiza one is all about, but personal taste!

Thanks m8y, its had alot spent on it, both performance and looks!

In the first picture my car has the standard suspension but had 15mm rear spacers.

The rest of the pictures were taken with Eibach coilovers on, dropped as low as it will go on the back (but doesnt have ne rear seats at the moment so sits very high) and dropped on the front 50mmish with a little left, it pretty much bottoms out regular over snakes pass and in my work car park as it is. Tho, I did have a LCR splitter on at one point, and that meant I had no ground clearance at all! I'm very happy with the coilovers, hasnt made the car anymore crash"ie" to drive over bad roads, but has really decreased bodyroll to almost nothing, I point, it turns! Luv it!

i thought about this the other day when a VRs went by and noticed its front grille badge but had the same notion that and black badge on a grille would be un-noticeable and a waste, the red one would stand out better but on an ibiza it looks like a fake badge, with the others all being balck and red

ha ha though my ears were burning, i couldn't just copy straight off Mr spark now could i

A "all" red FR badge would deffo stand out more, yet I dont think the std FR badges for our cars wouldnt look bad even on a black fr, does have a crome lip!

But your final point would be enough for me not to do it, it would look fake indeed. Best bet is if your debadging your beeza fr take one of the badges (prefacelift came with two, ner ner!) and give it ago, what else you gunna do with the badge!

I would stick with the black and red one tooo, and on the passanger side of the grill as it seems to look better there IMO.

Couldnt said it better myself, oh wait I did :p

It does look good doesnt it, im going to stop before I cant fit my head in the door on the way out of work 2night :p

On a side note, we need to arrange another manchester meet just for my car!

Nah, I wouldnt :D Mine, all mine!

Is that a question or?!? I think it looks very nice, didnt want/nor could afford different bumpers, so I colour coded the fog light area, the bottom valance, rear valance and eye lids for pennies, looks oem but to people that know, they know it isnt... which was the look I was going for before the VINYL's, and will be going back to that look early next year, as wanting the car back in "sleeper" mode for the new turbo and injecters planned :D
