I would like to debadge the rear of my car and replace them with just the spaced L E O N badge. I have found this part number in Pab's Useful Part Numbers and was wondering if this is the number for the old small LEON badge or the newer L E O N one.
Also any ideas as to how much they cost from the stealers?, heard this is usually cheaper than getting one off ebay.

1M6 853 687 E 739 - LEON letters, rear badge

Thanks in advance for your help :)

give Dawn at Ted Johnsons a ring tomorrow, she will be able to run that part number for you and you get 10% off the price with the SCN discount

Thanks for that RikH although unfortunately I live down south about 200 miles from this dealer, so even with the discount once you add p&p it would probably be better to get it from one of the dealers around my area.

I will probably apply for one of their discount cards though, could come in handy in future if I need more expensive parts.

The clue is in the part number, the model code for the Mk 1 Leon is 1M, for the new (Mk 2) Leon is 1P

the part number you quoted is therefore for the old small lettering on the Mk 1.

The larger letters on the new Leon part number is:
1P0 853 687 739
