I also got fooled by the tricksy wiper until I decided to flick through the manual, thought it had some kind of special rain sensor until it kept going on a dry day.

- So, push forward and keep there for water jets and wipe.

- Push forward and allow to spring back to centre for on

- Do the same again for off.

in your boot

haha he said the blockage, not the water itself!

f17th -

1st - check inside your boot behind the left light unit. you may find the water pipe that carries the water has come apart....

2nd - empty your rear light of water

I thought mine was blacked until i took the boot liner off to find a loose pipe! DOH!

Everytime i wiped it was squirting water into the boot!
Fixed it now but part of the wiper is missing so when i squirt now it shoots a jet of water 5m straight out the back of the car! Great fun when im getting tailgated but not very practical for cleaning my window

ah this may solve the mystery of the rust in the boot! wen i first bought the car there was rust all over the boot floor. looked like some kind of spillage had happened. but as my rear washer doesnt work perhaps it is just filling my boot up with water! i will be investigating!! need to do a respray jobby soon before it gets really bad.

Yay! Someone has solved the problem lol, it's so annoying, thought I had a major electronic fault hehe

Cheers for that! All it would have taken is a flick through the manual too!

Thanks mate :D
