I am looking for the best combo of performance and induction noise, I am not interested in how it looks
Fair enough, some of the best sounding systems don;t fit the LCR e.g. Carbonio as the LCR has a second intercooler and this blocks the route they use.
Performance wise these kits add a few BHP if your lucky but in my opinion they are worth it for the sound alone.
The three I named above are all good and probably isn;t much in it perfomrnace wise (I tried all 3)
RAM AIR - Great Sound but Build is not the Best
Dynatwist - Probably the best / sound and performance compromise
Both of the above are avialable from Bill at Badger 5
The Steve Schwing TTDA system recommended by Owen also looks good but you need to ship it from the US yourself
For the very loudest sound you need an open cone filter, problem is you also suck in hot air from under the bonnet which isn;t good for you cars performance (cool dense air = your car performing best) so a heat shield can be rigged.
I know jabbasport do one for the Ibiza (not sure if they do an LCR version) and I think awesomeGTI do one called Neuspeed P-Flo but I don;t know much about it
