Ibiza FR 1.9TDi - Exhaust upgrages?

Hi, i am looking to upgrade the backbox on my FR TDi but cant see many on the market. Does anyone know of any or am i best buying a universal box. Would like an oval pipe but am open to suggestions.

If you know what you are looking for i would suggest getting a custom stainless steel exhaust made.

You get what you want and its guarenteed to last.

As its diesel, you can just go for any custom job. Although i am not a fan of custom exhausts as there is no science in them, but on the diesel it does'nt matter.

in fact as discussed on various threads you don't really need to bother on boxes cats or anything on the TDi. So have a search on here and see the options. If you want something you can sell on the car with later on stick to milltek. But otherwise go custom, but do it only on recomendation as there are some real shoddy exaples out there at the moment

Thanks for your reply, just been looking at the milltek website and see that they do an oval pipe backbox. What is the difference between resonated and non-resonated? How loud would you say the milltek box is?

Personally I'd get a straight-through custom exhaust made in stainless with a suitable oval tailpipe...aka a mufflerectomy. Would imagine it's cheaper than a Milltek back box too.

To sound really dumb, are all exhasts petrol and derv, or are some just petrol only? You can see im a n00b to modding cars.

my exhaust back box from milltek is the same part no listed in the deisel section on there site so cat back they are the same! have a look in my time line in the mk4 section on my car and there are some vids of my non resonalted system
the difference is the resonated has a middle silencer and non resonated dosent

No in millteks case they can be used on both. The oval one was tested on my car when i had the twin tailpipe fitted . The oval one was origonally on the 20vt and then the dual one was fitted to the tdi. On the milltek site that s my car
