right, well back on topic a little, lol!
a remap seems the way forward, i dont want to lose reliability or much of (if it has any to start with
) what are these engines powered to around before the internals aint no good?
im liking the sound of revo stage 2 at the moment but feel the smic is almsot pointless as its so small and has little air flowing to it!

you could make holes in the wheel arch liner to get more flow over it... otherwise forge do a shiny new smic or theres fmic which most on here seem to go for.

previously had 242bhp/237lbs/ft with a blue flame sports cat , dp and jabba map. had a dynatwist on too but dont think it made a huge difference.
currently running an ihi vf24 turbo and all the bits
once you get used to it its ok... my right foot has become very sensitive!

lots mate. 4k ... turbos only a grand its the bits that go with it, jectors mani mafs.. all adds up.but with all the mods... wheels brakes cooler etc its still cheaper than the sti/evo brigade and less to run
i was going towards k04 hybrids but they all struggle to get to 300 and when you really added up the cost it wasnt far off ihi prices. ihi was jabbas baby and ive been happy with there work previously.

You obviously need sports cat on top of that if you dont already have 1 so £300ish and then FMIC on top £700

not yet mate. work commitments are heavy but the plan is to get some track days under my belt then get to a pod meet . im also wanting to see what its top end is? 160+.
no as said fmic and cat/zorst are extra... you need brembos or similar decent suspension and i found 7.5" x 18s help lay the power down.
well i am sorting out a vag trackday at brands next year if you fancy it?
