hi guys,

i can't seem to find any threads that discuss the optimum exhaust bore? i spoke to jabba and they said a 2.5" downpipe and exhaust with a 2.5" bore right the way through will be sufficient for a K03s ibiza? anyone got any experience with this? what bore is everyone else running (downpipe & rest of exhaust) i don't want to go buying something restricitve. at the moment i have a powerflow cat back that came with the car. so if it's 2.5" bore and that is sufficient, there is no poit in me wasting money on a full blueflame? i may aswell just get the downpipe and cat?? thanks guys.

brilliant that's what i'm after, so a 2.5" downpipe and exhaust is perfect for a K03s conversion? i wouldn't see any more benefits from getting a 3" downpipe?

but will a 2.5 " work just aswell seeing as the K03s is still essentially a small turbo? does it actually require 3" to get the best from it or are jabba right?

so is that the standard bore size?

yes it's 54mm = 2,13 inch.

This wouldn't be a restriction for the k03s.
The 2,5 " DP is to get the presure after the
turbo as low as possible. Source is Revo
Netherlands.

I've got a 3" myself but I'm going for a gtrs.
2,5" end is the biggest our ibi's can have
because of the brake lines on the back.
(maybe you don't have this problem with
a right stearing car)

i did read that. it's just that some people have said they don't do a 3" anymore.

I prefered my standard dp than to the Miltek dp & Race cat!

really? why was that?

i just rang jabba again, and they said 2.75" downpipe on a KO3s is fine, even 2.5" is perfect. he said ave my money and go for the 2.75" as he can guarantee the 3" won't give any more gains. elton was his name i think?!
