Engine Managment Lights URGENT

Please help!!!

The engine the engine management lights have come on and i have no rear break lights!

This happened around 6 months ago but was fixed by a friendly AA man who said it was nothing more than a sticky switch and should be fine from now on!

Last night the EPC and the light that looks like a engine have illuminated and there is now no break lights! Now usually i would just go straight to the dealers but I'm in Lincoln visiting my fair lady and have to be back @ work for 9 o'clock Monday morning.

So should i go to the dealers so it can sit there with little hope of being fixed before Monday OR call out the AA later on this evening so i will either get a tow back and or a hire car! Please Please Help:shrug:

Mr AA man has just been, the break light switch is cream crackered so they have offered to give me a tow home to Essex from Lincoln.

Tip Top serviceman arrived 10 minutes after the call hats off to them!

i found them to be spot on with our company vans too.which is a pain as i would quite happily sit in a lay by all day waiting.
at least you know whats up and can adress it now

Well got my car towed back by a a very friendley chap aranged for me 2 have a hire car which i collected from Stansted Airport on the way through (a rather nice Golf 2.0 TDI SE wow has this thing got some poke and can it corner!:drive1: )

All in all a amazing service and hats of to the guys in the trucks!:rocker:

Yep - that's right - that's the live read out, so if you continued on that exact same gradient at that exact speed with no corners you'd do 120 miles for every gallon.

Obviously this never happens so invaribly you hit hills, have to corner, speed up, slow down etc and that kills your mpg :(
