samco pipes for mk4 cupra??

ive been searching the net and shops for the CORRECT samco pipes for my car! i need help!
The pictures below are the pipes i want upgrading on the (bbu) engine code not the (ayp)



The inlet manifold to intercooler pipe.

The lower and small upper intercooler pipes

And the rear air intake christmass tree turbo pipe

I have found alot of kits fot the 1.8 20v turbo engine for the leon and the mk3 ibiza the audi,s and the vw's but these wont fit my car?
l also had this probem buying an induction kit origionaly bought the pipercross V.I.S kit which looked the nuts and took months to turn up but was the wrong 1


has ne1 got samco kits on their mk4 cupra?

Forge are making a Turbo intake pipe at the moment, for the MK4 20VT its not out as yet, not sure about the other pipes tho.

You'll have a hard time finding any pipework for the bbu engine. I've been after some pipework from day one when I got my cupra. Tried samco but like you say there either for a 1.8t golf or AYP coded engines

After asking, and getting some intrest, forge are making a TIP (Turbo Inlet Pipe), think it connect the maf and dv to the turbo and other pieces. No expect date yet though.

I spoke to richard @ forge last week and he said there currently just wainting for the tooling to be set up for the TIP. so fingers crossed it shouldnt be that far away.

When im down there i will ask about the other pipeing, If we can get enough intrest maybe forge may look into it.

i am so determined to get this silocone hose kit for my motor it would jus make the engine bay look top! might have to buy a kit and modify it or even get the universal silicon hoses from the samco website. i took all the pipes i wanted changing off and measured the bore ect ect so might be able to throw something together or do you reacon this aint a good idea???

worth a try i suppose, only problem is the shape of some of the pipes, not sure if samco would work?

well the chrismas tree one at the back is a no hoper for universal parts just wouldnt work. but the intercooler pipes would be no problem and as i have the the adapter for the dumpvalve on my inlet manifold pipe i could put two pipes together and join them with adapter??

Worth ago mate , as you say you can join the two pipes together, just a matter of gettin the right angle of pipe

no its the front mount lower pipe comes from the turbo.

three rads on my cupra behind 1 is rad infront of that is air con rad and in pic is intercooler

when i bought my intercooler from forge i asked about the hose to the inlet manifold they said they were looking into this!

to be honest i think al the hoses are out there in different kits as i think the hose to the inlet manifold isthe same as the leon cupra might be worth finding individual hoses i also think forge are selling a pipe kit for the cupra intercoolers might be worth asking them about it!

have seen a few kits with pipes in pics identicle to the intercooler pipes but with like you say the leon inlet pipe could be diffrent as the intercooler is probably mounted eg.slightly further away ect so might not be long enough ect n dnt really wanna be sending parts back and chasing after refunds. Its weird why they just dont do a kit for it they have got the leon the rs focus the vxr and the ST guess we'l just have to wait

there are not many out there with the bjx and bbu engines really not as common as the bam 225 engine from the lcr and tt and the mk3 cupra is really popular thats the problem!

well been quoted £300 for the tool. Then include actually making one say £100 for material that £420 for 1 hose....... but if say 10 people are interested then that £300/10 = £30 + £100 material = £130 for a hose. So the more people the it costs.

The company say that their silicone is better than samcos, and I bought of them before and it is top quality.

If I send him the parts or pictures with dimensions on them, (does ETKA have this?) he will price them up.

that is a silly price really for one hose the kit from forge for the other engines is only 100 pounds for 5 hoses i say if we all show interest to forge see if they can put it into production or try the leon cupra hose out if anyone goes down there and see if they will sell it individually
