Help needed Worcestershire Area!!

Hi,

Im getting my wheels powdercoated next week, but i need some temp wheels to sit the car on.

I dont care if they are some shitter steels as long as they fit and are legal.

I will need them between mon-thurs next week. Am willing to pay ten or twenty quid for the privellage.

I can't help on the spare wheels front, but Redditch Shotblasting & Powdercoating will do the job within one day if you wanted to limit the amount of time you're without the car/wheels.

No, they're £40 + VAT per wheel. Their quote to me said:-

Your Alloys would be first fine blasted to remove old paint, corrosion and grime then we would powdercoat with our full gloss polyester powder, then finally a polyester clear laquer would be the finishing touch. We would need your alloys for a day, Wednesday is our silver day, when we do all alloys, book them in with us, and you can usually have them back the same day! The cost of restoring your wheels will be £40.00 each + VAT.

You pay a bit more for a quick service I suppose. Plus you've got the added attraction of a day in Redditch and Redditch is a fantastic place to go*

Well I have no experience of them yet, but I'm going to be taking my Elise alloys to them in the not too distant future.

just paint i gather rather than a full on balance/repair etc

shot blast, under coat, then colour over powdercoat

wheels dont need any repair tbh

and they will be rebalanced when the tyres are refitted
