Just wanted to get a few views on what i could expect to get for around £10-12k?

I'll have a look in the FAQ's for the up's/ down's of ownership, but as prices change regularly, what ballpark mileage/ age Cupra R or Cupra TDi fall into my budget?

It appears that Parker's wildly under-values certain types of car (both the S2000 and VX220 fall into this category!) and I was wondering if the price would get me a nice example of either of the above models?

Cheers for any positive input!

Hi i got my LCR 2 months ago, 30k on clock, FSH etc very well looked after for just under 11k, on a 53 plate. Seems that most 225 models that are anywhere near an average mileage go for around 11-12k, 210bhp models from 9k upwards, again largely mileage and condition dependant. High milers 50k+ go for less. For your budget you should get a 225 easily. I know nothing on the TDi's tho sorry!

I paid just over £10k for my 03 plate 210bhp LCR. It's done 33K miles, full service history and came from a dealer (non-Seat dealer) with warranty etc. I was happy with that :)

I've recently made the move from LCR to VX Turbo - I'd say for that money you won't get a Turbo, as they start around £13.5ish, and that would be a for a low spec high miler etc.

But you would probably be able to get a good normally aspirated one (which many purists would say is a better drive :wtf: ) for your money! A few for sale on pistonheads, or look Here for the owners site with a number for sale / all the info you may need!

You know a VX makes sense!

Ok - just re-read your post, and you probably already know all that!!

I have an LCR 225 04 plate with 23K on the clock and that's up for 12,995. But I could be open to sensible offers. May be slightly over your budget, but only just.
