Ive just recently had my cars front Discs & Pads changed as the old ones were starting to wear.

They were a little worn when I bought the car so this is the first time ive had the brakes in brand new condition.

What a difference it has made, the stopping on it now is amazing!!!:D

Just thought I'd post this as if there is anybody thinking of a brake upgrade for their cupra I would seriously recomend a Brembo conversion as I find these awesome;)

To be honest, I didnt notice them fade badly.

Before I changed them the pads were virtually dead & the discs were really worn down, even then the stopping was pretty good except the sound was awful.

But compared to the new brakes & discs there was a huge difference.

Having said this I doubt you would ever let your brakes get as bad as mine were, I know that my brakes will never get in that bad condition again. I know what to look out for now.

I noticed the difference before even driving the car, I could visably see the difference of the new discs just by looking at them on the car.

Pad's are around £70.00, discs around £100.00. The brakes ate ten times better than the standard 280mm's however you can get them to fade... just like any other brakes, it just takes a lot more work to make them go.

The standard brakes would have cooked, warped and have no stopping power at all before the Brembo's would fade.

I just payed £355 for new discs, pads & brake fluid. Price also included new wipers on the front so i'd imagine about £320 for the lot.

Pricey but, what a difference its made
