Could someone tell me how to remove the lower dash trim? Is it just held in by three screws? If so do you undo these and it falls off, or do you need to pull it off? I just don't want to break it when i remove it.

Cheers.

3 screws plus a few of the ones that hold the plastic bit that the fuses fix to (behind the panel to the RHS of the dash if you open the door all the way). Then pull from the bottom.

You need to give it a good tug! Nah seriously it's not too hard if you pull from the underneath. From memory it slots in over the bonnet release (which when you put it back on line up first) and has 2 plastic locating lugs either side of the steering wheel at the top and another one further down on the left to line up when you put it back on.
When i took mine off i found that the factory had bent some of the lugs as they'd missed the holes so i bent em up so they went into the holes.

There was a guide knocking about as you dont have to take out all of the screws, i think you dont need the one by the white fuse remover, and the one immediately above to the right and centered below the fuses as these just hold the fuse box in.

You'll need a very short screwdriver or a bit on the end of a ratchet before you start to do the one closest the door hinge at the btm.

BTW i have had a few beers but i think the above is accurate!
