I Want To See 200bhp

Well i have revo stage 1 on a pretty much standard car and it was dyno'd at only 180bhp, although it has made a massive improvement in the power delivery.

I think im going to go down the revo route as it seems to be the most popular and i think my aggressive map would suit my driving as i like abit of kick... but 1st of all id like to do a trail hmm bit of a pain that my closest dealer wont do it does anyone know if the reading dealer does the trial the bloke on the phone told me the swindon one didnt?

thats all iv ever seen, only ever heard of ibizas making 200bhp on rollers but all iv seen for myself is 180s...mine made 160bhp on rollers at 3krpm before popping a pipe off

but on the way home i blasted past a 306 that made 189bhp!

this is why i go off on one when threads about bhp numbers appear...it just annoys me. i dont mean to sound like a c0ck...i just do

every revo dealer should be able to offer the trial...if they dont then they shouldnt be a dealer!

the only annoying thing is iv heard some charge for their time and refund you whe you return or something but they shouldnt

lol nah its kool, i was just under a big impression that i was a garunteed 200bhp, its also a good pub talk figure lol i think im just going to get a revo then save and get a filter miltek exhaust then get a stage 2. my mate used to have a standard cupra he reckons he had 201bhp from AMD i never see any print outs think thats possible? or maybe that was at the fly? also why do revo say 206bhp if realisticly its only 180bhp?

It purely depends wot dyno you go to!! It's whats called the dyno lottery. Today mine mite have 200bhp tomorrow it mite have 175bhp. But look at the torque!!! Pub talk is all well and good but it's out on the road (sorry track) that counts!!! My mate has a 220bhp car and still don't understand why i'm stuck to his arse and go past him on occasions!!!!!

200bhp is the ball part figure for most of the remaps. if revo can prove that they have acchieved 206bhp from a generic map then thats what they advertise!!!! Could be a set of rollers that aren't callobrated properly!!!!

you are never guaranteed bhp. every car is different ie how it's been looked after / serviced!!!

I know this mite make you laugh but two of my mates have 1.2 old clio's. and one is noticably (dare i say) quicker than the other. Nothing done to it purely because it has been maintained better and has done lees miles.

i do honestly believe my car is running around 210-215bhp at the moment

but RRs piss me off because i know that without an fmic i wont get near that unless the garage is a fridge!

and thats the reason stating numbers is pointless, but at the end of the day if companies didnt state a figure, less people would bother with it.

the easiest way to understand it is driving a remapped ibiza in summer and winter...its one hell of a difference. likelyhood is youll get different RR figures in summer and winter as well

better to take the trial and decide for yourself. realistically the car will feel like 200bhp.

ive just had revo stage 1 on my car really impressed, results on power vary alot because even though we all have the same engine it really does depend on the car, plus you could get completely different results on different rollers like they say its a dyno lottery lol

Just going by what a few people have said on her that its more than likly to be 180bhp or around that and that the revo bloke said to me id get about an extra 30bhp

156+30 is no 206

as stated above, they're all much of a muchness - but all have different 'features' from cost to switching to adjustment to support

horses for courses and there's very few options out there that would disappoint.

lol yeh i will be i just like to get my moneys worth thats all, well by the sounds of it i should get a good result as my car has been well maintained its has a FSSH and has only done 32k.
