Most remaps will give you close to 200bhp mate have a search for revo and jabba as these are the most popular ones :)

Its not just about the most bhp you have its also about how the power is delivered plus if i say got 198bhp with revo stage one you might only get 180bhp as everyones cars differ but take alook at the revo and jabba official sites they will give you a rough guide on what you should expect :)

just depends on what mods u have m8
a revo will give u roughly about 20-30bhp more
i would go for a new turbo back exhaust new filter either panel or induction then ya re map u will deffo c 200bhp even more
all remaps roughly give u the same increase
but i would get them bits fitted first then go for a custom code but the choice is yours
i am quite happy with my revo

My wifes Ibiza ran on Revo stage 1, on tesco 95 200bhp/260lbft no tail off

You don't need any more mods if all you're doing is trying to hit a number (which isn't really the point)

only if your car is poorly, or you set it up wrong (not the default settings) will you see anything as low as 180bhp

You need to play with an SPS3 and do some logging then.... 193 is way low (but that's dyno dependant)

awesome's rollers by chance?

If your not interested why post ?

because stupid questions itch my scarcastic tendencies

200bhp isnt even that much! RRs aint accurate so how can you know, all remaps are basically the same, revo appeals to alot of people because its aggressive but against another car with a different (but reputable) brand map, there wont be much in it

and finally...someone who is 'not fussed about traveling to get the best map' but obviously cant be arsed to do a decent search because all of the above is available...i know cos iv said it over and over before

for the record i think revo is the best...why?...well not because revo quote 207bhp on their website!....its because i have it and nothing major has gone wrong.

numbers mean diddly, likelyhood is without the fmic you wont see 200bhp on many rollers, doesnt mean its not running it

You can throw a blanket over all of the remaps really.

I'm with carl on this one, yawn. Just look at all the pros and cons that people have posted and make your own mind up.

someone whose not blinded by numbers? you only think im a knob because im not aggreeing with you

if you really wanted best value for money should you really buy the laguna fmic  no stop...im not getting into it!

best value for money...the information is there you just have to look a little harder. but you aint gonna find an absolute conclusion " 'x' is the best map to go for" cos it doesnt exist unless you believe in the custom bullshit.

im sorry but i dont see the point asking because if every remapped owner post, it still would prove nothing...other than maybe Revo is the most popular because of how 'fast' it feels..where APR is just as quick in reality

seriously this thread could just go on for ever with revo owner saying revo is the best, CC owners saying 'custom' is best apr owner for apr etc etc

if you really want an opinion...then id say decide between Revo, APR and Jabba

dont bother with superchips, ottenger, C-C, upsolute, cheap ebay flashers etc anyone that actually 'chips the ecu' when theres no real need

I didnt say you was a knob?

but back to the thread i spoke to a bloke from my local revo dealer today and first of all they dont do the 5hr free trial he said it was a pain in the arse and secondly i asked him the average bhp and he said to me that i would get about 30bhp bringing it 180bhp :S thats cant be right surly? Im not blinded by numbers but if im going to spend almost 500 quid on a remap i want to get the one that provides the most bhp there for making my car as powerful as i can for the money i have to spend at the moment,

As for the laguna remark isnt that good value for money if it does exactly the same as the forge one but at a much lower price fair enough its doesnt fit as well as the forge one but there are ways around it so it looks fine once in situ.

But i have been thinking about it and ill proberly wait till i have the money together and maybe get a forge one.

Its not all about bhp figures you want to take the torque figures into consideration as well when buying :)
