Pick up the Car today at Long Last

Why do you have to wait so long? I'm picking mine up tomorrow, which is one week after ordering it.

it's a very long story, could have had the car back in July, but needed to find a balance between, finance settlement, trade in value, and have a bit of time for the person buying our Ibiza to save up a bit !!

It'll be worth the wait though. Until the flies start attacking it like they do with mine [:@]

defo worth waiting for :)
I've told Vick she can clean this one sometimes, it doesn't have to be just me:cartman:
what are the wheels like for cleaning, they look a pain in the arse with the twin blades????

Not too bad mate to be honest, just get an old sponge and force it into the gaps and they clean up ok, the hardest part is getting behind the calipers on the fronts, so be prepared for lots of cut hands. Might take mine off this weekend so I can get all the wheel properly, I have been washing and waxing mine every weekend since I got it, even waxed the wheels too :D I'm trying to clean it every weekend especially with the winter months closing in gotta keep all the salt and crap off it.

i use a Karcher jet on mine (fortunately i live in the pub, so the hose pipe ban doesn't affect me) and always used wonder wheels with a paint brush. but i run out last week washing the car ready for kent modded then brands.
Halfords have a 3-4-2 on Meguires, so will prob start stocking up.
i used to take my wheels off once a month, just to get them totally clean, and spray right up in the arches and suspension etc.

I used to use a pressure washer on my old car but the handle broke so I'm looking to buy another one now, using the hose pipe isn't really good enough for blasting all the little bugs off and getting under the arches clean. I used some Auto Glym shampoo the other week and it was absoloute pants, just like washing your car with water it never foamed up at all.
