If its the 54-48 reducer it comes off the top of your turbo to connect to your charge pipe, especially good if you put a k03s on, my standard reducer kept popping off until i got this one on there.

This hose fits directly to the turbo. It is made from high temperature resistant Silicone compound and nomex reinforced to withstand the high pressures that may be experienced on tuned engines. This is the perfect replacement for the OEM hose which can fail when engine performance has been increased.

they will withstand a lot higher pressures. the idea behind a samco tip is that the original is very restrictive and also can collapse under serious pressure. the samco one is less restrictive and will give a few around 6bhp gains.

can we just get something straight....this isnt a Turbo Intake Pipe (TIP)

this is a reinforced hose that fits onto the turbo - intercooler pipe over the engine!

Is this one particularly more heat resistant than using a "normal" silicon hose or will it be ok? As i've only just been up to you guys (mon) and bought a 90 deg reducer so i can fit custom boost piping to my K03S.......

2 mikalor clamps and a robbed scamco reducer is holding up well on mine :)

i stripped two mikalor clamps i did them up that tight! back to some rally clips, which i cannot fault, they allow the hose to expand inside without loosing tension etc.

good for the both of you...dont forget that this actually came about because it was requested by people! Forge didnt develop it in the knowledge that people will buy it even if they dont need it...people had problems...and this is the solution
