Ok i have seen the guide on how to fit it but you need 8 self tapping screws, but there is no part number so i assume you get these from B&Q or something. What size self tappers do i need?

b&Q or homebase etc.

I can't remember the exact length i used but they were not that long. just enough to fit through the splitter and underside of bumper with a bit to spare.

I used 10 screws (2 additional at the mid section) as i felt the mid section may flap at speed as it felt comparatively loose compared to the sides.

have a look at the screws in homebase, you'll be able to gauge which ones suit visually

Hi mate,

You will probably find that 12 - 15mm self tapers will do the job. 15mm would be better if you can get them.........B&Q, Homebase or Wickes are a good bet.

fatter shorter screws with wide head and course thread are best as the bumper plastic isnt that thick so you want to get as much purchase as possible.

some people have not drilled a pilot hole, some have.

best tip is a spare pair of hands as trying to do this yourself is not easy.

I taped the splitter to the front bumper, then got under & put it on. Think the screws i used were about 3/4 of an inch long !

When you get the splitter from seat just ask for sum self tappers.

The bloke at my local dealler chucked in about 30!!!!

I used 20!!!! 8 seems a bit stingy but then mine is solid!!!

^^ Hope it never gets ripped off! That would really make a mess of the bumper what with there being 20 screws in there.

I just used pabs's guide. Used an awl to create little holes first, to help me know exactly where to put the screws when you're on you back trying to screw the fncker in (ooo, that sounds dirrrty). I used masking tape as well to hold it place as I screwed it in.

Got some ~25mm fattish self-tappers from Homebase.

Basically as the rest of the chaps above have said really. Tis a great little cheap mod as I really think it helps set off the front of the LC. Esp in black ;)

It's prolly bout time I did some proper mods eh! lol
