Im going to be purchasing a Seat ibiza Sport 110 this month (I will.... no matter how quickly they are selling). Just need information on how easy it is to do the minor tweaks to make the car more cupra like.
I drive miles to work, am poor and only 21 so a cupra is kinda outa the question.

1. How much/easy to colour code the side skirts/black bumper trim

2.How much are the 20mm spacers i have heard so much about

3. A modest (cheap but good)remap but maintain mpg (130-140bhp would be nice)

4.Also does the twin exit cupra back box fit easily/ is it a good idea.

Sorry for all the question... bit excited you see

right,

i had one of these, the 110 version, i had it remapped by revo. i will say that over all i now have a 130SE and the 130SE feels more powerful than the 110 remapped. and it never really ever felt all that great.

i didnt notice much of a difference in insurance between the 110 and the 130, so if you can there is so much more potential to tinker with the 130 than the 110.

personally i would rather have a slower looking car with much mroe power than a car that others reconise to be powerful anf it atcually being a slow ass derv!

anyway!

only down the road from you if yo waana play!

I really want the mark 3 ibiza though which puts the 130 out of the question. I fell in love with the 20VT Cupra and for the time being with the distance i travel the 110 is the closest i can get.

Farnborough hey, you not very far at all. il keep an eye out for ya, although while i have my 1.4s il keep hidden

ahh.. i am a tit! i thought you were on about leons!!

i would think a beeza would be more rapid remapped due to weight things!

CupraTgirl lives about 30 mins if that from me, she has a mk3 20vt cupra.. really dont know the derv side of it!

but the things such as colour coding the bump strips makes all the difference. looks a tonne better!

i am not really spotable at normal times as i am out and about all day, but i am in a black leon with black TT rims with seat center caps! always driving like a perfect lady of course! ;)

lol

i have friends who are bad to me. they are bad influences.. they let me drive theirs and then i am like.. omg.. i want one. but need to wait till i have one years no claims and till i am 23... so then much easier on the pocket! so roll on may i say!

but i dig the TDI thing, the torque makes me happy in all the right places. once i get mine remapped will be even more mental!

if your ever bored and wanna go for a drive give me a shout! i knwo some awsome roads!

Damn you girlies and your insurance, im heading for 21 and 2 years no claims and its still heavier on the wallet then i expected...

when you drive a 1.4s its hard to go fast enough to lose your no claims.

definatley up for a ride in a leon... those cars are B-E-A-utiful. i might take you up on that offer when i have a ride that im proud of. thanks. although not sure if my heart will take it... what with your westfield expectations..

have a good night jason plato :p

Cheers mate. A few of the questions answered

Love your car mate. I must admit looking at your car made me ask some of the questions. Looks really tidy. Does it go well?

Thanks for your kind words.

goes amazingly well for standard, the power to weight ratio helps i think. Im more than happy with it. doesnt match petrol power but then it never will, its the easy 50-55 mpg which i love to have even when booting it around. And after nearly 55k its been faultless, the best car ive owned.

If you want to go out in a proper diesel, rather than georgies little pocket toy diesel, the next meet down there ill go to it, if you come along ill take you out for a spin in mine. Then you will know what a diesel really can be like ;)

P.s no offence georgie :D :p

Thats what i wanted to hear.

Been chasing the tdi sport for a month now but they sell so fast or are well over priced. Just missed out on a car nearly exactly the same as yours (even cupra alloys) went for a mere £3500 to some geordie trader. Oh well il keep looking

Yeah was exactly £500 below the asking price. was given away.

The guy selling was a really nice chap and sent me loadsa pictures but had already agreed the sale. He had to dirve all the way from andover hampshire to birmingham to meet the guy. Im only 30 minutes away...thats what hurts the most

What so special about this diesel then? i take it you have spent some notes under the bonnet.

;) well, you could say it is a little fast  and yes, a few of the queens good pound sterling has been spent. Hybrid turbo, fmic, full milltek exhaust, dynatwist induction, cupra wheels, and rs6 wheels as of today, tt 312mm front brakes, sachs uprated suspension, sachs uprated organic clutch, forge strut brace, rear strut brace, boost and egt gauge, and i thinkl thats about it
