Youngest Leon Owner

Hi, i was thinking about this the other day and i reckon im the youngest owner on this forum!!

I am 18 and have a seat leon 2003 1.6. I wud love an LCR but insurers wud laff at me (along with the bank!!)

just wondered if theres anyone younger with a leon!!!

Yep pretty sure there is someone around with a Leon who is only 17.

As with the LCR you've only got a couple of yrs to wait picked mine up when i was 20

21 with an LCR 225. Yes I do have to pay a bit on the insurance but its only a couple £100 more than a group 8 car.

LCR's aren't "that" bad on the insurance so long as you find a sympathetic insurance company. Looking at £600 at 23 this renewal, with 3-points

I know a 17yr old with a 1.6, but well, thats a 1.6

Petrol costs me 4.50 for a full tank.



Oh and when I was 18 I had a 1998 BMW 740iA. Insurance was 65 pounds. The car cost me 5000 quid and it was mint.

That is cheap

But surely those prices aree related to average income over there?


Just found a website that says average wage a month is roughly 3000 Riyals which works out to be £430 a month

so 1 riyal = 14p

I wonder what the average age of LCR owner is? its got to be around 30ish age due to insurance/car costs
....although with everyone getting stuff on credit now it's probably quite young.
