lol if you cant fabricate the downpipe somehow...then theres no way your gonna fit it!

2 options i see...make one yourself if you think you can..or approach someone to make one for you

You will need the oil feed and return lines, coolant lines, K04 manifold, Downpipe. Bigger injectors ( S3 or LCR), FMIC, Larger TIP, CAI. Remap.

So to fit a KO4 all you need is a LCR Inlet manifold and someone to fabricate a DP???? I know the other mods needed to get big power but thats effectively all i need????

got turbo and manifold and downpipe is not an issue now what else is needed to just get it running before i start upgrading injectors and all the rest

There are 2 K04 turbo's....the K04 001 and the K04 0023.
The first one is a straight bolt-on and for the second one you need the manifold and other downpipe.

For both conversions you need bigger injectors and a fmic is advisable.

yeah but the K04 001 isnt popular, not that that latter is, but for the 001, your likely to get better results with a k03sport

the 023 is what you want, but if it was so easy it would be more popular. the design of the downpipe alone is pretty important, make the wrong design up and you could find yourself severly hindered in performance...and then theres space...its not exactly the size of a swimming pool, making up the exhaust to fit perfect would be a nightmare!

which one is from the LCR?? Surely with FMIC, Injectors, 4 bar FPR, you'll get atleast 260bhp???? As a thats what an LCR remapped may have.

I know It is a bit different but surely with a good FMIC, All the bolt on stuff an LCR has and Full exhaust, CAI and a good remap, you must see over 250bhp????

The only reason i'm enquiring so much is it mite be the cheapest way of getting over 250bhp???

Correct me if i'm totally off the boil?????

If i can get the 001 and it's a direct fit surely it's better than the KO3 if they fit them on LCR, TT's and S3's????

they dont though thats the point...afaik its the 023 on the 210/225 engines
001 is weak and prone to failure
even with all the bolt on goodies and a k04 turbo your guarenteed nothing

no figure at all is guarenteed with anything....and it wouldnt be cheap...custom work, custom fabricating..all the labour to fit? your talking alot of money

cheapest way to 250bhp is to stick some nos in it!!

I don't want NOS. Expensive way of doing it in the end i think.

So wot was the 001 fitted too?

afaik no ibiza owners on scn have bought an AM04 from A&M and talked about their results/findings and how happy they are...theres atleast one person with a JBS04 who has openly reviewed the kit, and then theres cupra matt with his eliminator gt2X...these really do seem to be the only available answers to getting more power without going IHI

theres a lad with a k04 023 on here in his ibiza who reckons its 300bhp, there was a short clip of him against an RS6 but he wasnt british so a left hooker i think
