Its well stated that you can not have a CAI on the cupra r 225 because of the twin intercoolers but does this apply to the cupra 210? I know how annoying the question is 'whats the difference between a 210 and 225' but im sure i saw a 210 at donny south with a CAI.

Any light shared on this matter will be much appriecated ;)

the 210 and 225 both have twin intercoolers, the engine layout is exactly the same.

By CAI I think you mean something like the carbonio - there isn't room for the air filter to sit where the second intercooler is on an LCR.

A few people have managed to get an airfeed for either the stock airbox from down by the intercooler, but most go for an airfeed from the stock location by just ripping out all the stock plastic ducting and routing a larger pipe.

try a search on 'smoothed airbox' or 'final frontier'

210/225 are identical buddy.

Was it an LC 180? Now that can fit a carbonio as it is single intercooled.

You can fit a CAI on an LCR many people have but it is the routing of the air pipe that is different because of the twin intercoolers.

Carbonia don't fit but you can get others that do with different air intake paths.
