leon foot rests?

Hi there guys 'n' gals,

I have read some previous posts about foot rests/dead pedals, just wandering if people have found a suitable solution for this or one that can be easily modified to fit, vag parts say that the TT RHD foot rest does not fit and if it did it would need to be modified heavily, anyone done this?

Just wandering if there is a solution for this or do I have to put up with the crappy plastic one, I dont want to take it off and dont really want to go down custom made route as too much hassle, would be interested in people's opinions, thanks

but is expensive and rare 2nd hand
im in the same situation as you, would like something else to match the TT pedals

so you just wasnt the dead pedal to look better?

then as above, R32, or if you want to save some £'s just get some alloy and bend/cut to fit and affix.

can get this most places.

vag parts chap said that the R32 foot rest needed to be modified...? which one do you need, LHD or RHD?

fits directly with no modification IIRC

dont think the custom foot rests would suit the TT pedals, R32 would look better IMO

That is a silly price...... Not my cup of tea anyway but £90 odd quid for some fancy metal that does not benefit the car at all apart from making it heavier.

Having said that they look ok..... foot plate or strut brace? tough.....?

different strokes for different folks fellas, its what makes us all different ya knows....
interior styling mods hey, will look at doing a custom job if I get the time & feel like it., happy with me TT pedals for now.

i was after jubbjubb's strut brace but he had someone that could pick it up interested even though i was there first, doesnt matter, they arent hard to come buy
was going to buy his deadlocking kit as well in a one'r, doesnt seem worth it now
