a boot gauge will not tell you what BHP your running. the best way to get an close guess would be a rolling road
Yeah you can only tell what psi yours is running from a Boost Guage

i have just read my first post and i didn't mean it to sound like dat. I do only want to find out whther it's remapped or not. Anyone with a spare one??
If i do get hold of one temporary how would i fit it so i can easily put it back to standard???

but a length of vacuum hose, connect it to the top of the dump valve, run it under the bonnet/slam panel, and into your passenger window, have a passenger hold the gauge and if it boosts more than .6 bar / 7psi then its more than likely remapped

It kind of is filled but its always worth me going over by a couple of people in case someone cant make it or something! Yeah im organising it! I did the one in June too that was in Golf+
