Leon - Carputer?

Im thinking of installing one into my Leon (if i ever get one!) and just wondered what people had already done.

How did you connect the PC to the speakers? As the headunit has been replaced.

how is your project progressing, thinking of doing something similar in my LCR,
bit of a novice though, others have any tips?

Ive not even got my Leon yet!

So not well. Although i think ive planned most of the bits im getting, its just a case of when the car comes sorting out the setup. Then getting on with the install.

Whats your plan look like?

I've already got the LCR, but not allowed to drive it as license suspended til March for medical reasons

Yippee, but possibly planning on doing it whilst I wait

I'm just about to do the same to my LCR.

BLADEUK, what screen you using? is it touchscreen, how much was it?

I was thinking of doing the double din thing and building it in but not too keen on it being low down.

Anyone else started the project? it would be good to here your views
I just went to see a mates one in his ibiza, sterling job he did! using a 12v PSU from cartnatirx (or something) and has a liliput screen mounted in dash, and pc in the boot.

If i can get a cheap double din face for the leon i'll be up for installing the screen, if not its going to have to be the slide out type as above
