I am about to do some work on my Granddaughter's 11 plate and need to disconnect the Radio, and wonder if there is a code that needs to be inputted after I have put the power back on ?
Depends on what radio is there.
Some are coded to the car and don't need but the cheaper option need code.
so if is a base radio small tiny screen black and white needs code, mine was coded to the car.
if you don't know what radio, a picture will help.
ebay sell codes but they are written on the car manual in a small card

Thanks for the reply, I have been informed that since 2009 the coding is linked to the ecu,, so if its the original radio it picks up the code but if I was to put the radio into another car it would not work
I did the job on the radio, and turned back on, the display said "Learning" then started playing music !
