Power steering problems after engine rebuild.

My 2011 ibiza FR recently had a total rebuild due to a blown cylinder (number 3) I had a warranty and they covered the rebuild (yay for once insurance was worth while)
a week after the total rebuild and back on the road the Main ending stabilizer bolt fell out (dog bone mount on bottom of engine) Obviously not installed to correct torque.
However this was an easy fix. but ever since that time my steering has been seriously heavy.
No part of the steering was removed with the engine because the pump is electric and the rack is mounted behind the engine. additionally it was all working great until the bolt fell out.

Any ideas as the pump has been replaced and is all working great and the engine all working.
I understand that the engine was twisting with the removal of that bolt, hence the name "stabiliser mount".
Could this twisting have twisted any part of the steering shafts or popped a joint?

advice required thanks.
