Leon 2.0 tsi 190 dipstick snapped!

Just a heads up, Just went to check the oil after a quick run home and the tip of the dipstick just came apart! It has snapped just on the first kink, the 'full' mark.

I was lucky it came off as I wiped it and not in the sump. So maybe be careful/check yours is not weak in that area next time you check your oil.

I don't suppose anyone has the part number do they?? Cheers.

Is your car's engine code DKZA?

If it is, then the part number of the oil dipstick should be 06K115611B

Wish I had. Engine displacements bigger than 1.6 liters are taxed very heavily in my country, so most of us have to make do with smaller ones, like my 1.4/125hp engine. Anyway, I have no complaints and I'm happy with it
