Hi all,

I really have thought longand hard abut this, and i might upgrade my turbo to a k04, but in your honest opinions is it really worth the trouble or do you just buy an LCR?

So far im looking at getting 230hp out my Leon Cupra, but may need more in the future. Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers

Ant

Not worth the massive amount of changes TB.
Think KO4-001(KO3 hybrid), straight swap for your KO3s with a couple more bits.
Good for 270ish BHP

You have a Ko3s but I think Willie is talking about fitting a Hybrid turbo which to get the full effect needs other components too. This is covered extensively in this thread from Badger5 section.

Basically from a turbo point of view, provided your turbo is in a servicable condition, you part ex your Ko3s for a hybrid which I think is Ko4 internals with Ko3s fittings or its along those lines.
