During my recent MOT, I was told that rear brakes binding a tad and the discs have a slight dis-coloration which implies they have been hot.
So, took off the wheels for a look see and found that the pads are solid in the carriers, had to knock them out with a hammer and a blunt screwdriver.
With a bit of emery cloth and a dab of copper ease they are now back in, not ideal but better than before.
So, I am now looking at replacing them, discs and all..
A quick call to ECP produced 2 prices for discs and pads, £80 all in for Pagid and £40 all in for Eicher.
I am not after anything special, just something that compares to stock discs and pads, and was wondering if anyone has any experience of Eicher ?
Obviously, brakes stop you so are important, but the rears on my Tolly keep rusting up and have to be replaced every other year, so I was just wondering about the cheaper Eicher option ?
Any comments guy's ?
Thanks.
