Baffle on K03s ?

I have been looking for an explanation for the baffle that is on the K03s turbo that is missing on the K03 but have been unable to find an answer, could any one help with this please just interested as to why its there.

You'd suspect so inside. Outside they're different.

Hmm interesting, just need to find a K03 casing and i might have a fiddle, interesting though its the only one in the K0 family to have one AFAIK.

If you're looking to do a housing swap, you're going to need to find a K03-053. Here in the states it was used on the VW Beetle, but it was also used on the Bora and Octavia. A non-muffled housing was also used extensively elsewhere, but it was machined for a smaller compressor wheel and wouldn't be a good match. The model to avoid would be K03-035, K03-011 et al.
