I am thinking of changing my car to either an Ibiza FR TDI or Fabia VRS. I was having a look at the specs of both cars and the 5 door Ibiza has a kerb weight of 1180Kg and the VRS has a kerb weight of 1315Kg. Why is there such a big difference?

i had the hatch one and it didn't have the hole for the jet, but this new one doesn't have the arc to complete the join anyone elses look like that?

I picked up my set of parts for the mod today, and all the part numbers on the packets are correct, but the wiper arm itself has a different part number on it. Part number on the packet is 6y6 955 707, number on the part itself is 6y6 955 704. Any chance anyone of you who've done the mod...

When I replece the rear wiper next week when the parts arive, upgrading to the fabia system will this mean that the washer jet will spray more than an inch up the window?:shrug:

As we all know the standard wipers on leons are gash to say the least! I have replaced my front ones with ease and i dont know how i lived with the standard ones. However, I am finding it very difficult to find a fabia rear wiper, ihave trieds the usual ebay etc to no avail,:shrug: :confused...

I've found a few threads on here about fitting a fabia rear wiper to the Ibiza, but I cannot find the part numbers required for love or money (Apologies if I am being blind!)..... Basically I know there are specific parts to fit onto a Leon which consist of a mix of hatchback and estate...

Alright fellaz Boring post i'm afraid but could do with a quick favour if poss I'm gonna change my rear wiper for the fabia version. I have the three part numbers but am too bone idle to go into my local Skoda Stealers Is there somewhere on the web i can mail order these, done...

Using pabs' excellent fitment guide this mod took no time at all. I used flat screwdriver to prize the original wiper cover off and then undid the 13mm nut. Dropped the new wiper on tightened it up and added the new cover. See pictures below. I may loosen it slightly tomorrow as the trial run...

I'm getting a Fabia vRS front ARB (21mm) fitted in the next week or so. Is there anything I should think about changing at the same time as getting the ARB fitted? (other than the bushes that came with the ARB) The car has done just over 30k. Thanks
