Have a look at the instruction manual and see what you think. I think my MAf based kit may of been more involved, not sure about he boost based DO kit.

i had a look at the kits earlier on and its seems pretty straigh forward, but as you know there is a differance between looking at instructions and fitting the kit... will need to do more investigation into the best kit for the £££

I had a quote for supply and fitment of this kit on my car

Now i questioned the fitting price straight away, and his reply was this is what They do for a living, which makes sense really. the average garage be it jabba, AMD, JKM etc etc will have very little experience fitting WMI kits to cars. This is all these guys do.

Plus when i asked him if he had fitted them to any skodas he said, he hadnt fitted to a skoda but had done a load of VAG cars predominantly SEATs.

i make that about £380, plus say 50-100 for a map tweak on the RR. Plus they also said they would do some forum discount ontop of that if i wanted to

Me personally i would go there for the supply and fitment of the kit, have them check that it is all spraying correctly etc, but i would then take it to a a tuner such as REVO, JABBA etc to have them tune it on the RR.

The problem we have was highlighted by Owen above though mate - we are so far North and there are no specialists we would trust within 400 miles of here.

I believe DPJ fitted his though.

unfortunatly it looks like you might have to travel if you want someone trustworthy to fit it.

in the long run you wont regret the drive

I spoke to the guy who sells the kit above and he said he wouldnt recommend travelling as it is easy to fit yourself, he said if i bought the kit from him he would just be a phone call away, he also said they are the cheapest Devils own dealer in the UK, which i beleive as it is a bloody good price.. especially for me as i will be utilising the the washer tank as it has its own warning light built in and it is massive aswell

Although not a Mk2, I fitted a stage 2 Devils Own kit to my car, found it all straightforward, not difficult really, works great, haven't needed any remapping either. I bought my kit direct from the DO website in the USA, arrived in a few days, cost about £280 to my door.
